DeSoto, moving forward together.
I'm a DeSoto homeowner, community advocate, and neighbor running to turn everyday concerns into practical, measurable results at City Hall.
DeSoto is my home. Over the years, I've come to care deeply about this community and the people who live here. That's why being involved and having a voice in what happens here matters so much to me. I believe local government works best when residents have a real seat at the table. Paying attention to the city budget and asking a simple question - are we doing right by the people who live here? - was one of the ways I got involved.
That question led me to City Hall, where I have advocated for practical property-tax relief, transparent budgeting, and a city government that treats residents as partners. My approach is respectful and grounded in results residents can measure.
As a Hispanic resident of DeSoto, I'm proud to bring my experience to this campaign. I want every resident to feel heard, and I'm running to represent all of DeSoto.

Listen closely, set measurable priorities, and show residents what changed.
DeSoto's city homestead exemption is currently 0%. A prior City analysis estimated that a 5% exemption could save the average homeowner about $105 a year. I support a public fiscal review so residents can weigh potential relief alongside the services our city needs.
Support reliable infrastructure, public safety, parks, and public spaces that work for residents in every neighborhood. Listen to residents and set clear goals and follow-up.
Invite residents into decisions early, make participation easier, publish results, and show how the City responds.
From neighborhood streets to City Council chambers — showing up, listening, and doing the work.

Grassroots donations from neighbors fund the yard signs, mailers, and door-knocking that get our message out. Any amount helps.
